Trout Lake Nature Center Extend Summer Hours to beat the Heat
TLNC Announces Extended Summer Hours
EUSTIS, Fla. — TLNC (Trout Lake Nature Center) will begin extended summer hours on June 16, 2026, allowing visitors to enjoy the Nature Center and trails from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The expanded schedule is being offered as a summer trial program designed to give the community more opportunities to experience TLNC during the cooler morning and evening hours.
“We are excited to offer visitors additional opportunities to explore the trails and enjoy nature during some of the most peaceful parts of the day,” said Eileen Tramontana, Executive Director. “We hope the community embraces these extended hours so we can continue offering them throughout the summer.”
TLNC features scenic walking trails, native Florida habitats, wildlife viewing opportunities, and outdoor experiences for visitors of all ages. Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to experience the preserve during sunrise and sunset hours, when bird activity, wildlife sightings, and cooler temperatures make the trails especially enjoyable.
